Chartersville Funeral home is located at 363 Amirault Street and was opened January 1, 1984 by a retired businessman and town of Dieppe Fire Chief George Bastarache and his wife, Holly.
They engaged in the services of Leonce Dupuis, son of neighbouring funeral director, Dollard Dupuis, to carry on professional duties. He was there four years before returning to Memramcook to take over the family funeral home from his father.
Cora Coughlan came to work at Chartersville in 1988 and managed the firm for five years prior to purchasing the business in November 1992.
Cora takes a special interest in her staff and is proud of their volunteer work in support of the community.
